We started as two guys that wanted to leave the big dealerships and go back to the times of talking to the customer, so we could help them. Through the years, we have brought in additional trained technicians to be able to provide honest and quality service to our customers.
Jimmy Rogers (Owner)
Jimmy has been interested in how things worked since he was a child. He took auto mechanics in high school and started working at a local dealership in the late seventies. As the years past, Jimmy’s experience and knowledge grew, he earned ASE Master Technician and Ford Master Technician. He and a partner opened their first repair shop in 1999 and the second location in 2004. In 2015, they split the shops and now Jimmy is sole owner of the Graham location and the official name changed to The Service Department Graham, Inc. In his free time, you will find him on the golf course and following grandchildren to sporting events.
Josh Rogers
Josh is Jimmy and Lisa’s son and he is our lead diesel technician. He grew up watching his dad work on cars and the fascination grew into a career. Josh graduated from Southern Alamance in 2001 and moved to Houston, Texas to attend Universal Technical Institute. He earned an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology and has obtained ASE Certification and Ford Master Technician. Josh and his wife Jennifer married and combined families sharing four children, Quinn, Reese, Shane and Isaac. And, two pit bulls, Pearl and Ellie Mae. In his free time, he creates artwork with scrap parts, spending time at the lake and coaches little league softball and baseball.
Lisa Rogers (Owner)
Lisa worked at UNC-Chapel Hill for 23 years before joining Jimmy at the shop. Her main position is office manager. But, fills in as service writer or whatever job needs to be done to keep the shop moving. Lisa and Jimmy have been married since 1981. They have three children and six grandchildren. For now, they have put their camping days to rest and enjoy a permanent camp house at Badin Lake. And, when they find a break in the busy schedule of their grandchildren, they pick a spot on the map and leave for a few weeks at a time to travel.
Johnny Basden
Johnny joined TSD Graham in 2017 as our quick service technician. He graduated from Southern Alamance in 2002 and has been a volunteer firefighter for 14 years. He and his wife April have three sons, Bryson, Jeremiah (LJ), and little Zachary. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Mike Herring
Mike started his automotive career following graduation from Southern Alamance in 1996. He studied automotive technology at ACC, graduating in 1998. He began his career at Edwards Tire and Automotive in Graham where he worked until having the opportunity to purchase Edwards Xpress Lube in Burlington (formerly Mr. C’s) in 2005. He has recently sold his business and has relocated to The Service Department Graham, Inc. Mike has been married to his wife, Leslie for 12 years and they have two beautiful children, Jovie, age 9 and Elliott, age 3.
Caz Stone
Caz joined TSD Graham in 2017 as our service writer. He is a local to Swepsonville and enjoys spending time outdoors. When he is not working, you will find him hunting fishing, golfing or paddling down the Haw River. He also enjoys photography and spending time with friends and family. Caz is a graduate of Southern Alamance and studied Broadcasting at Liberty University. On the weekends, he does sports broadcasting at local universities.
